Erster Saxophonunterricht im Alter von 11 Jahren an der Musikschule Buehl bei Pirmin Ulrich.

2003 Mitglied im Landesjugendjazzorchester Baden-Würrtemberg (Leitung: Bernd Konrad)

2005 Jazz- und Popularmusikstudium an der Musikhochschule Mannheim bei Jürgen Seefelder im Hauptfach Saxophon.

2009 Austauschsemester an der KMH (Kungliga Musikhögskolan) in Stockholm.

2012 Bachelorabschluss an der KMH (Unterricht unter anderem bei Johan Hörlen, Karl-Martin Almqvist und Robert Nordmark).

Diverse musikalische Erfahrungen in der Masterclass Big Band (Leitung: Peter Herbolzheimer), MardiGras.BB, "Brass and Fun" Big Band der Stadt Buehl oder in Workshops mit John Ruocco, Adrian Mears, Joe Gallardo, Peter Weniger, Ack van Rooyen oder Mark Turner.
